About natural deodorant sprays

Our Salt of the Earth range of deodorant sprays sit on the surface of skin and work to eliminate odours without blocking pores or altering your body's natural functions. They also come in a refillable bottle, they can be topped up using our spray refills, the equivalent of 10 individual spray bottles.

What is in natural deodorant sprays?

We only use 100% natural ingredients in our natural spray deodorants. This includes calming ingredients like aloe vera. Our fragrances are produced from aromatic botanical extracts for fresh and cooling scents, and we never use alcohol or CFCs in any of our spray deodorants.

Do natural deodorant sprays work for everyone?

Salt of the Earth deodorant sprays are perfect for anyone looking for a natural alternative to antiperspirants. As well as several fresh fragrances we have an unscented spray available, so hopefully there's something for everyone! Our natural deodorant sprays are even suitable for children who are just starting to experience body odour. The reason we have so many formats of our deodorants available is so we can cater to everybody, if you find that our sprays don't work for you then you can still get the same great scent but maybe in a roll on instead!

What's so good about natural deodorant sprays?

There are loads of great things about Salt of the Earth natural deodorant sprays! Our natural deodorant sprays come in reusable bottles made from 50% recycled plastic and 50% plant derived plastic which can then be refilled using our 500ml and 1L refill bottles. With 100% naturally derived ingredients you are getting hard working and long lasting odour protection in a skin friendly and soothing spray!

Are Salt of the Earth deodorant sprays suitable for kids?

Yes all our deodorant are suitable from boys and girl from 6 plus, as and when they begin to experience body odour.

How long will a Salt of the Earth spray deodorant last for?

We estimate a spray will last you: Light use: up to 5 months based on 2 sprays per armpit per day. Average use: 3 months based on 3 sprays per armpit per day. Heavy use: 1 month based on 4 sprays per arm pit twice per day. Please note, this information is for guidance purposed only. Individual usage may vary.

How do you refill a Salt of the Earth deodorant spray?

You can refill a Salt of the Earth spray easily using one of our 500ml refill bottles. This gives you approximately 5 refills. To refill you simply unscrew the spray nozzle and pour in the refill. Detailed directions on how to refill our sprays are printed on the outside of the refill bottle.

Are Salt of the Earth deodorant sprays 100% natural?

Yes, we use 100% natural origin ingredients, certified to the COSMOS Natural Standard by the Soil Association.

Are your spray deodorants tested on Animals?

No, we are approved to the Leaping Bunny Standard by Cruelty Free International.

Are your spray bottles recyclable?

Yes, they are made from HPDE which is easily recyclable. The spray pumps (atomisers) are currently not recyclable as they are multi-material, but you can re-use them by refilling your deodorant spray.

Why has the colour of the Salt of the Earth unscented spray bottle changed from clear to white?

This change was made to improve the sustainability of the product by introducing recycled plastic into the bottle. The previous clear bottle was made from 100% plant derived plastic. The new white bottle is made from 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic, and 50% plant derived plastic.

What to do if your spray nozzle stops working?

If your spray nozzle or 'atomiser' has stopped working, we have a few simple trouble shooting steps. First, try pressing the spray down 5 – 10 times. This will clear most blockages in the pump mechanism. Be careful where you point the spray during this process as it may suddenly start working again. If this doesn't work, try soaking the pump and dip tube in warm water for ten minutes and then repeat the steps above. If your pump is still not working, please contact our customer support team, who will be happy to help.

Do you use decolourised aloe vera?

Yes, the aloe vera leaf juice powder we use is organic and decolourised.
