Common questions about Amber & Sandalwood Natural Deodorant Balm - Plastic Free & Aluminium Free
This balm features a rich, woody fragrance with base notes of labdanum, cedar, and sandalwood. It is perfectly balanced by middle notes of ylang and nag champa, topped with fresh hints of kaffir lime and bergamot.
Simply scoop a small, pea-sized amount of the balm with clean fingers and gently massage it into your underarms until fully absorbed. It goes on dry, meaning there is no waiting around before you can get dressed!
As a natural deodorant, our balm is designed to help neutralise odour rather than block your sweat glands like a traditional antiperspirant. Formulated with natural ingredients like shea butter and coconut oil, it provides all-day freshness while allowing your body to sweat naturally.
This deodorant balm comes in completely plastic-free packaging, making it a great sustainable choice. Please note that while many of our products offer refills, this specific balm format is not currently refillable.
Yes, all Salt of the Earth products are completely vegan and registered with The Vegan Society. Furthermore, our entire range is proudly approved by Cruelty Free International and COSMOS certified.

I have been using this (and the natural/unscented version) for nearly 18 months now. It is highly effective, smells good and is easy to apply. It may not seem particularly cheap but it is lower priced than some others. More significantly, my shirts are no longer being ruined by aluminium based under-arm anti-perspirants so that is definitely saving me money!

You really don't need much of this deodorant for it to work. It's so silky and goes on really easily. Dry immediately. Hours later my underarms still felt silky soft and no odour at all. It doesn't stain your clothes either. All in all, really happy with this purchase.

I have been using Salt of the Earth deodorants for years, first I used the crystal but the cream is much better. It goes on dry so no waiting before you can get dressed. I like the ingredients no harsh chemicals to worry about. Shea butter has to be good for your underarm skin, right? Also the packaging is perfect glass and metal 100% recyclable... What's not to like? I have already recommended this to friends.
